Due to the government recommendations, we will have no in-studio group classes or events until further notice. We will be doing private testing for those that would like to complete their Eagle test, and will provide digital training with the beginning of Dragon Cycle.

Thank you for your support and patience during what has been an extraordinary time for you, our team, and the rest of the world due to the coronavirus.

Making decisions about how to deal with the virus at the dojo over the past several weeks has proven to be challenging, as new information about the virus comes to light almost hourly.  Our decisions have been guided by only two priorities:
1.     The safety of our students and our staff.
2.     Directives from our local, state, and federal government.

Due to the recommendations by the President, we are cancelling all in-dojo classes effective Tuesday, March 17th (this includes Playful Pandas and Stick classes on Saturdays). Sensei Jauch posted a live video to Facebook @ibba.fc Monday, 3/16– please watch if you are able. If you have not yet joined our student group, please request access so you can receive videos from our staff throughout this process.

We will finish up this week doing individual testing. Please contact us to schedule a test if you would like to receive your next rank to complete Eagle cycle. We know that we were not able to complete Progress Checking, but your private session will include your progress check and test if you are ready to be tested. If the Sensei feel you are not yet prepared for test, they will give you guidance on what to work on to complete your material and how to submit your follow-up test to earn the rank that you have been working toward. If you feel that even one-on-one testing would put you at risk, please contact us for information on digital options for your test.

With the beginning of Dragon cycle on Monday, March 30th, we will be offering digital classes. Each student will receive a link to their class twice weekly with instructions on how to “check in” to receive credit for attendance. All class videos will remain active for the entire cycle so that students can review and practice as much as they would like.

As always, please call or email us if you have any questions or need any assistance navigating this process. Mrs. Jauch will be in the dojo for calls from 9am to 7pm weekdays to answer your calls or provide you with any training materials you may need.

Thank you again for your patience and support.
